What we do

We help you understand your home's energy rating and introduce you to installers and EPC assessors. We don't carry out any work ourselves, and we're not a party to any contract you make with a partner.

Information on this site

Energy certificate and planning information comes from public government registers. It can be out of date or incomplete, and the planning check uses the centre of your postcode, so it may not be exact for your home.
Grant and scheme information is general. Whether you qualify is decided by the scheme, your council or your installer, not by us.
Nothing on this site is financial, legal or planning advice.

Our partners

We check that partners hold the right certification before we list them. Each partner is responsible for its own quotes, work, guarantees and conduct. If something goes wrong with work, contact the partner first and use their certification scheme's complaints process (for example MCS or TrustMark). Tell us too: we want to know, and we'll stop working with partners who don't treat customers fairly.

Our liability

We provide this service free of charge. We're not liable for a partner's work or for decisions you make based on information on this site, except where the law doesn't allow us to limit our liability, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.

Complaints

Email hello@propertyenergyguide.co.uk. We'll acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days and aim to resolve it within 14 days.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
